Monarch Butterfly season is here!

My mother raised my sister and I to actively engage in the conservation of Monarch Butterflies; this has been a practice that we have engaged in since we were children. This tradition has also been passed down to my daughter– so now all four of us continue to make efforts to protect Monarch Butterflies by providing education to our loved ones, while also supporting conservation centers, to include: The Butterfly Pavilion, Butterfly Biosphere Reserve, Xerces Society, and Butterfly Wonderland.

All of my posts on their existence will be in honor of this activism.

I would also like to take the time to honor the beautiful painting depicted above, of which one of my loving and angelic friends created.
